Beginning of a new chapter: Gerard Nus

The day NEUFC fans have been waiting for is finally here. The Highlanders have announced their Head Coach for the next season, 35 year old Spanish Coach Gerard Nus.




Gerard took up Coaching when he was just 14 years old. He has a vast range of experience in North America, Asia, Africa, Australia and Europe. Over the years he has worked with some of the most high profile teams in the world of football. He was Assistant Coach of Liverpool FC under Rafa Benitez and the Ghana National football team under Ex-NEUFC Head Coach Avram Grant. He was head of academy coaching of the English side Brighton & Hove Albion. He was also the Technical Director of Spanish clubs Rayo Vallecano and Elche CF. He heads to India after spending a year in Sweden in his last project as methodology director of AFC Eskilstina till 2019.



Gererd Nus is a refreshing addition to the Highlanders' roster. His Positional gameplay would be entertaining for the fans. We Welcome Gerard to the Highlands of the NorthEastern India.
